Did you ever wonder about your Twitter followers? Who are they? What do they do? Why are they following you?

Well now you can find out … TwitterSheep is a fun tool that allows you to see all this in visual cloud of keywords extracted from your followers biography.

To generate a cloud of your own just enter your twitter name and within minutes you can have your own keyword cloud that you can choose to tweet out to your “flock.”

So it is not rocket science but it did allow me to realise that my Twitter followers are professional associates. Check it out  … and remember to respect your flock!

In a Forrester report published earlier this year, Social Media spend is expected to increase by 34% by 2014, placing it just behind mobile marketing, but ahead of search marketing.

Regardless of industry, the top areas of marketing, whether it’s interactive or marketing in general, for any business, must focus on social, mobile, and also the real-time Web. Thus forming a Golden Triangle engagement.

  • The iPhone is the poster child of mobile.
  • Facebook is the poster child of social.
  • Twitter is the poster child of real-time.

Facebook & Twitter post big gains in unique users

Compared to user activity on social networking sites last year, Facebook and Twitter posted gains of 69% and 45% respectively in the U.S.
